Neurofeedback is a highly specialized field of neuropsychology, and because it is possible to cause harm to someone, it's important to have the proper training.
In order to become certified by The Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA), you have to complete a 36 hour didactic course that follows the BCIA blueprint, 25 hours of mentoring from someone who has been practicing neurofeedback for at least two years, complete an brain physiology course, and take the exam.
I have been practicing neurofeedback for several years, and have a background in neuroscience and psychopharmacology (see the about page). It also helps that I designed my own 36 hour, BCIA certified didactic course, so my services help with application of neurofeedback techniques, as well as the principles behind neurofeedback, which will help prepare you for the BCIA exam, and implement neurofeedback into your practice or institution.
Additionally, I have a condensed version of the 36-hour didactic, BCIA accredited course that is meant to be used as helpful study guide for the exam. If you sign up for, and complete ten mentoring sessions with me, I will give you the study guide course, which comes with access to me and access to the Neuro Nerds Facebook group, for free!
