Jasmyn Steele

I am passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe growth happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to become their authentic selves.

I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with a Military Psychology concentration at Adler University after earning my Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My professional background includes human resources, project management, and wellness programming, where I have developed workplace wellness initiatives and collaborated with licensed professionals to create movement-based programs that use dance as a therapeutic outlet.

My research focuses on military veterans, particularly understanding factors that influence mental health outcomes and successful reintegration into civilian life. I have presented my research at regional conferences, including the Midwest Psychological Association and the Midwest ECO Conference.

My clinical interests include working with marginalized communities and individuals navigating life transitions, identity development, workplace stress, trauma, and resilience. I strive to create a collaborative, culturally responsive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to achieve their personal goals.

Outside of my academic and professional work, I continue to explore the connection between movement and well-being. I also enjoy knitting, crocheting, and taking long drives in my stick-shift car.

I look forward to being part of your journey.

Jasmyn sees clients in person out of our Lake Zurich office and via telehealth.
