Hello! I am a Diagnostic Assessment Extern from Adler University where I am pursuing a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD ‘27). I am also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. My Psy.D emphasis is in Primary Care and my interests include clinical and forensic psychological assessment as well as treatment modalities such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
With sixteen years of experience as a practicing psychotherapist, I hope to bring to Cerebrum thorough and empathic psychological evaluation and assessment services with the goal of overall psychological well being. Throughout my career, I am proud to specialize in the care of Hispanic, Spanish-speaking, and LatinX populations including new arrivals (immigrants), First Gens, and undocumented and mixed status individuals and families.
Outside of work, I like to relax and destress by petting and walking my 2 little yorkie dogs, biking and exercising, spending time with family, and dancing to Latin music.
